As from 1st October, we are standardising our opening hours as follows:
Monday – Closed
Tuesday – 18:30 to 22.30 This is our Pub games night, where our Darts Team and Crib players meet
Wednesday – 10:00 to Midday – Coffee Shop, Post Office and Library
Thursday – 18:30 to 22.30 – (Including Quiz Nights and Monthly Open Mic Night)
Friday – 18:30 to 22.30 – Friday Night Food
Saturday- 18:30 to 22.30 – Saturday night opening will be event lead
Sunday – 12:00 to 15:00
Extending our hours will mean we will be stretching our current Committee members and volunteers to their limits.
We are not in a position to employ a full time Manager at present, but we are looking for an enthusiastic Pub Supervisor to help assist in the day to day running of the pub.
The successful candidate will be assisting the Committee and volunteers, for around ten hours per week. The post will involve occasional bar cover to support volunteers, opening/closing procedures, managing volunteer rotas, booking system table plans when required, stocktaking and some cleaning.
We would like to trial this position for a three month period with a view to assessing whether we need to change these hours.
